What is the Mid-South?
The Mid-South Commercial Law Institute is an annual seminar on commercial law and bankruptcy issues held in Nashville, Tennessee. The seminar takes place over two days, and is usually held on a Thursday and Friday in November or early December. The Mid-South seminar is also a networking opportunity for commercial and bankruptcy lawyers, giving them the opportunity to meet other professionals and bankruptcy judges from the mid-south area. The Mid-South seminar includes a reception for its attendees, which is sponsored by the Tennessee Bar Association. Continuing legal education credits are available for attorneys. The Mid-South seminar serves Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia, and CLE credits are usually available for attorneys attending from each.
